Alternative Page 3 at UK Feminista Summer school 2013

I had the most wonderful time at the UK Feminista Summer School. I did a talk and Panel discussion on Art and Activism with the amazing Campbell X and Suzee Morayef and an alternative Page 3 workshop. In this workshop we asked people to create their own Page 3's which they would then go and put into The Sun newspaper guerilla style (like I did in my performance in 2009, youtube below). I was surprised how moved I was by this workshop, seeing and hearing everyone's inspirations was amazing, there was so much passion and solidarity. I can't wait to hear everyone's feedback about actually putting them into the paper! I have a few submissions left from people and I will go and put these in myself. More to come!

The Summer school itself was such a great experience, such an amazing atmosphere and I've come back feeling so inspired. I remember feeling so alone when I made my Page 3 film a few years ago. In that short time things have grown so much, there are so many amazing women out there making changes. It's great to be a feminist in 2013!

New show at Kunstihoone, Estonia.

Hello all, my attention to my blog has been terrible....this was partly because I had forgotten my password. Haha! Awful excuse I admit....
It has been a very eventful time since I lasted blogged. I wanted to show some wonderful photos from my latest solo exhibition at Kunstihoone in Tallinn. The show was initially going to be the 'It's a Girl!' exhibition from last year, but instead we decided to go for a 'mini retrospective' for various reasons. The show turned out wonderfully and I had the most amazing time in Tallinn, fantastic people, fantastic place, I couldn't have felt more welcome. I really want to thank everyone who helped put the show together and a massive thank you to everyone who has attended the show. We have actually broken the record for attendees at an opening, the opening day and opening weekend. It's incredible! So proud. Totally buzzing. Here are some photos from the show, the opening and the talk.
